Who we are

The Truth of the Bible It is an information site on Christianity.

We are Christians who aim to divulge the “Good news” placing emphasis on the sovereignty of God in every aspect of our lives. It is still a Christian site Tory that likes to call “Catholic reformed” in the sense that it does not deny the history of the Roman Catholic church and not always set them as negative, It does not intend to wipe out what were the correct doctrines of the first Councils, but he refuses to follow the doctrines proclaimed by the Council of Ephesus onwards, such unbiblical and not conforming to the teachings of Jesus, the apostles and the early Church Fathers. We therefore believe that there was need for reform at some point in history (1500), from the time when the church had been gradually moving away from the Word of God and enriched by new human doctrines and superstitions.

Some might argue disagreeing, but “The Truth of the Bible” It refers exclusively to Sacred Scripture and its authority. This site is not intended to be presented no absolute truth, but only present a Christian view the most ecumenical possible, and then you can find different nuances and positions in various posts. Do not forget that there were differences of opinion even in the early church, and the apostle Paul writes continuously to the various churches for this reason urging not to fight over the minimum differences, as he said in Romans:

One estimate a more than another day; another esteems every day alike; Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. He who observes the day, He does it for the Lord; and who eats everything, He does it for the Lord, because thanks God; and he that eateth it does so for the Lord, and thanks God. (Romans 14:5-6)

A Galati:

Now, brothers, I urge you, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing and not to have divisions among you, but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same way of thinking and feeling. Indeed, my brothers, I was told by those of Chloe's household that there are contentions among you. I mean that each of you says: "I am of Paul '; «io d’Apollo»; "I belong to Cephas'; "I follow Christ". Is Christ divided? Paul is perhaps crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul? (1Corinthians 1:10-13)

What matters for Christians is the faith in Jesus, not the different views between the group and the group. For God he did not found religion, not founded divisions, we created those. No Christian can say to another “you will not be saved” O “you are a heretic” because he thinks differently from him. We can not judge, we are not God.

Be wary of those who tell you “Io stop the verità”, or “What I say is confirmed by the Word of God”, “I teach the right doctrine”, “If you do not follow what I say you're on the wrong road and error”, “others tell heresies”, bring maybe even several biblical references to support what they say, I am taken out of context and ignoring others who say the exact opposite of what these “doctors” affirm. I “beginners”, those who have little knowledge of the Bible, likely to fall into their trap. Do not forget that the larger seven Christian mold formed on the Bible. To understand the Bible you need a good preparation in every humanistic matters, then history, literature, philology, linguistics, etc. The history of the church is important and in this and we can not help it. The new evangelical currents that are formed from 1800 on, ignore and repudiate the history of the church, they are convinced that to be right it is enough to read the Bible alone, and here hundreds and hundreds of Protestant denominations were formed, both evangelicals and Jehovah's Witnesses, bringing shame to the whole Protestant world and bringing only divisions, quarrels and false doctrines.

Finally, be wary of those who only criticize others, shows little or no love for one's neighbor, tolerance and often tends to the judgment of Christian brothers, which even ends up in the illegality of defamation. These are the ones to whom Jesus, on the day of judgment, will tell “I've never met you, turn away from me, you evildoers” because they will say justifying themselves “lord, lord, we did not prophesy in your name and cast out demons in your name and do many mighty works in your name?”. Cristiano it is not one who prays, who preaches, who always names the Word of God. A Christian is whoever acts as a Christian, who shows it with facts and not with words, who shows love and understanding, pity, charity, those who help and love your neighbor, regardless of the theological vision, by religion, gender or sexual orientation.

For Jesus said,:

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, pace, patience, kindness, goodness, fidelity, gentleness, restraint (Galati5:22)

By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. (Giovanni 13,35)

How can a person who calls himself a Christian and a lover and defender of God's Word to forget / omit other important parts of the Bible? How can it condemn, judge your Christian brothers and live in hatred? Of course he doesn't really know Jesus. Whoever knows Jesus knows love, joy, pace, blessings, serenity and happiness.

So what is Apologetics?

It consists in the defense of the Christian faith. Every Christian is required to defend the faith and Scripture from the attacks of unbelievers. Then apologetics takes on different shades even in the Christian sphere, as there can be marginal differences of views even within Protestantism itself. However, this does not mean that one can attack different siblings individually because they see things differently. What makes us Christians is having recognized Jesus as our savior, having believed in his deity, having been part of our life. This is the gist of Christianity, as well as love of neighbor, as Jesus said:

So love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength”. The second is this: “Love your neighbor as yourself”. There is no other commandment greater than these ". (Marco 12:30-31)

Legal notes

People are not attacked on this site, my neighbor is not criticized, it just exposes the Scripture and brings some’ of love for Jesus to those who do not know him, to those who do not know Scripture, because He loves us. It answers the questions that are asked.

Having said that, however, we want you to know that, despite the site being ECUMENICAL, that is, open to dialogue with other Christian and non-Christian confessions, however he remains Christian and we do not accept those who sign up for the sole purpose of polemicizing and sowing discord. Our views are expressed throughout the site in the various articles, just use the search form to see how I feel about something or the other or what the Bible says on this or this other. Are welcome however those who are in search of explanations and want to learn more about Catholicism and Protestantism.
