As regard the Adventist Church? Close to Biblical Truth? Or similar to the doctrinally wrong reality for me of the Pentecostals…
The Adventist Church is counted, in many American sites against sects and against spiritual abuse, along with Jehovah's Witnesses and Pentecostals, between the sects. The Adventist doctrines are, like the Pentecostals and the Jehovah's Witnesses, fundamentalist and do not take into account the context from which they extrapolate the verses to build doctrines. The Adventist church takes the Old Testament and the commandments into account in a pharisaic and legalistic way, and has forgotten the Grace of Christ of the Gospel, which says that salvation is not by works but by faith and grace, and it is not up to us. and it is not up to us:
Romans 3:20 for by the works of the law no one will be justified before him; in fact the law gives only the knowledge of sin.
Romans 3:27 So where is the pride? It is excluded. By what law? Of the works? No, but by the law of faith;
Romans 3:28 since we believe that man is justified by faith without the works of the law.
Galati 2:16 we know that man is not justified by the works of the law but only by faith in Christ Jesus, and we also believed in Christ Jesus to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law; because by the works of the law no one will be justified.
Adventists have become as fixed on the Sabbath day as Jehovah's Witnesses on God's name! There seems to be nothing more important to them!!! For Adventists and Jehovah's Witnesses, salvation is therefore by works (we are saved only if we respect the Law), but the Gospel is clear: salvation is by grace and faith!
