Question: Ciao, I wanted to ask why Jesus often gives the name of the Son of Man. What does it mean?
He is defined in two ways: Son of God and Son of Man. In the first case it tends to indicate its nature divine and spiritual (posted by us and different from us, Lamb, perfect, pure and sinless), in the second case, He indicates his coming into the material world, become flesh, born as a human being (Maria) and its vulnerability (in fact he died with pain). The latter name does not preclude that He is indeed God, then the other appellation, Son of God.
