Modern editions of the LXX have followed two different methods. Göttingen edition of the LXX, edited by Rahlfs, instead of sticking to the reproduction of a single manuscript as does the Cambridge edition which refers to the Vatican Code B, he prefers to go back to a more original Greek text reached by comparing the various manuscripts we possess. The most used manuscripts are the Vatican Code, Sinaitico and Alessandrino and the variants reviewed by Origen are also accepted, Luciano and in the Catenae.
